Your first reaction might be to laugh at this suggestion, but here's the thing: it's real. There is a specific type of high-density spray foam that is routinely used to fix foundations, and it does a really good job of it. Here's a closer look.

What is spray foam?

The word "foam" throws a lot of people off. You might be picturing the sort of soft foam one would use to stuff chair cushions or the like.
